A quick list of reasons to consider enrolling in this Digital Arts offering includes:
- Education. Economic challenges make education even more important. This class lets you look at your work from a different perspective and provides up-to-date, real-world promotional tactics to move your business forward.
- Resources. Previous participants list additional resources as a class bonus because each session involves information specifically tailored to the students. In addition to content-packed presentations, participants serve as each other’s “board of directors” and get invaluable input as a result.
- Homework. If you’ve ever put off finalizing your collateral materials, or putting together a marketing plan, this class is for you. The deadline of “next session” requires moving information from the drawing board to the action pile.
Comments from previous class participants include:
“She makes you think about new ways to market your business you may not have considered.” Andy R.
“Absolutely loved your class. Like I said, I’ve taken several similar classes: Marketing for digital artists, Legal issues for digital artist, Starting a Photography Business. However, I learned more and my grey matter is working overtime more in just the first day in class than all of those classes combined.” Debbie K
“Practical info I can use right away.” Karina G.
“I took a class at UNM Continuing Ed with Mary Ellen. In just one hour Mary Ellen provided so much helpful and concise information on how to improve our website by building an online Media Room. She was very knowledgeable, provided concise and clear information and gave us tons of valuable tips on improving our websites. Her presentation was relevant and effective.” Margarita G
“Just a brief note to tell you that a lot of things are finally coming together for me. I put a lot of your great ideas from your class on my New Years’ Resolution list. The title of your class was prophetic. Every week I try to do a little something to push my work by updating my site, getting on Facebook, printing and framing my art. etc, etc. and sure enough, I am hearing more of a “buzz” about my work. I have a couple of jobs lined up and one project (cross your fingers) that I hope will turn out to be a great opportunity. I’ll tell you later, don’t want to jinx it. Anyway, doing well, thanks.” Debbie
“Thanks for .” Marjie B.
